The IPM3 Integrated Protection Relay has been launched! IPM3 is a multifunction, multi-voltage relay designed for use in underground hard rock mining, tunneling and other industrial applications.
The IPM3 provides all the standard outlet protection functions, as well as selectable pump and fan operating modes, reducing the number of spares stored on site and allowing for a standard starter design. It includes the Ampcontrol wireless Outlet Test System (OTS). A user-friendly, industrial strength colour touch screen provides fast and flexible configuration, control, and monitoring, including cloud storage.

PUMP/FAN FUNCTIONALITY
Combing multiple starter functions reduces the number of spares started onsite and allows for a standard starter design which reduces site complexity.
SMART LOAD TERMINATION - LCM
The LCM module can replace the diode at the end of the trailing cable pilot conductor. It is powered by and communicates via the pilot line and stores protection settings, allowing load identification and protection settings to be stored in the load/machine. The LCM provides remote start and stop input facilities and 5 temperature inputs.
AUTOMATED PROTECTION TESTING - OTS
The Ampcontrol OTS provides a fully automated and comprehensive outlet testing facility. The OTS enables the IPM3 to undergo routine testing quickly and easily, with all results uploaded to cloud storage when the tablet gains internet access. This satisfies statutory testing requirements whilst also providing a convenient, secure, and comprehensive record management tool.
