Ampcontrol Winner of Business Hunter President's Award

The President’s Award is selected annually by the Business Hunter President and recognises an organisation or individual that has added substantial value to community and/or business efforts in the Hunter Region in a highly commendable and distinguished fashion. Ampcontrol was recognised for their approach to collaboration and innovation with maximum social and environmental impact. 

“Ampcontrol is a Hunter success story which is making a global impact. Since its creation in 1968, Ampcontrol has developed several products and achieved significant business growth, welcoming other organisations into its fold. Ampcontrol demonstrates that true innovation comes through collaboration,” says Lauren Elyes, Current Business Hunter President. 

“Their achievements include purpose-built manufacturing facilities in Tomago, the creation of ResTech, a joint venture with the University of Newcastle, and developing products to help decarbonise industry. Ampcontrol is a great example of a business achieving commercial success, as well as social and environmental impact.” 

The award was accepted by Stacey Sleeman, Ampcontrol Finance Director & Chief Financial Officer.
