Powered by an Ampcontrol engineered solution, the 43-foot battery electric hybrid boat developed by Ampcontrol, Steber International, and The University of Newcastle won the Marine Industry Innovation of the Year award at the Australian Superyacht, Commercial Marine and Export Awards in Sanctuary Cove, QLD, on 22 May 2024.
The 600kW plug-in hybrid power and propulsion system designed by Ampcontrol engineers allows the boat to be efficient, quiet, and emission-friendly without compromising on the cruising range. This innovation showcases Ampcontrol as a leader in the global energy revolution.
