We keep mine sites operational through our proactive maintenance specialist overhaul and repair of underground mining machinery. Ampcontrol aims to increase the longevity of the equipment you’ve invested in, avoiding unnecessary downtime on mine sites.

Overhauls
Our workshops in the Hunter Valley, NSW, and Central, QLD, offer a wide range of mechanical and electrical repair and overhaul capabilities.
The size of our workshops can accommodate multiple overhauls simultaneously, supported by our overhead cranes, which improve productivity and operational efficiency in our workshops.
With a full life-cycle approach, we work alongside our customers to ensure their mining equipment complies with standards, ensuring safety and efficiency. Our approach provides minimal downtime due to the fast turnaround in overhauling and manufacturing spares.
Machining
We offer machining services through a fully onsite independent Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine shop, high level 5 axis turning, milling & gear cutting, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) imaging supported with Espree/inventor software. Through a CNC Robot, our machining services are offered with fast turnaround, even for complex machinery and services, ensuring minimal downtime.
We specialise in machining hydraulic cylinders and new and reverse component engineering.
Ampcontrol is certified AS/NZS 3800 in flameproof repairs and machining.
Ampcontrol has accreditation in Quality and Assurance.
Fabrication
We have fully self-sufficient fabrication facilities that enable the manufacture of spare parts and components to support our overhaul work as well supplying stock directly to customers.
