Uniting to advance industry

Our partnership with Australian energy utility, Horizon Power, saw the establishment of Boundary Power in 2021—a joint venture that allows us to provide high-level expertise on stand alone power systems to our customers. Through Boundary Power, we have created award-winning renewable solutions such as Solar Qube.

After developing a partnership with the University of Newcastle in 2004, we were able to collectively bring ResTech to life. This collaboration enables us to offer innovative product development solutions in electrical and electronic engineering, along with scientific consultancy and auditing services. We have also partnered with the university for a multitude of projects, including a hydrogen battery powered boat and ventilators at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a bid to decarbonise mining operations, we joined forces with Tritium to enter the global Charge on Innovation Challenge. This fruitful partnership saw us become the winning entry with our end-to-end mining haul truck battery swap solution. Tritium also collaborated with us to supply battery chargers for our DRIFTEX project.

Through a joint partnership with hydrogen company, LAVO, as well as Boundary Power, we’re able to offer innovative hydrogen storage solutions that progress industry towards net zero.

We’re advancing electrification efforts through our partnership with Solitech. They have been mechanical experts in developing our Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) solution, DRIFTEX, helping to reduce emissions and decarbonise mining operations.

Our partnership with specialist electrical engineering company Safearth, as well as NewieVentures and local clinicians, allowed us to design and produce an emergency ventilator prototype at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our collaboration with Steber International, along with the University of Newcastle, has allowed us to see impactful sustainability efforts across marine vessels. We have collectively developed a hybrid diesel-electric boat that utilises batteries and electric motors to reduce diesel engine size, minimising carbon emissions during operation.

Their solutions portfolio includes active harmonic filters, STATCOMs, SVCs and UPQ energy storage solutions. Customers benefit from improved power quality which enables energy savings, increased productivity, guaranteed process reliability and grid code compliance. Ampcontrol is Merus Power’s distributor in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific (including PNG).

Bender is a German company with 60 years’ experience in the field of electrical safety. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of highly sensitive insulation monitoring devices and on-line earth fault location systems, designed to detect and locate developing earth faults on essential electrical systems and equipment to enable repairs to be carried out prior to system failure. We are the Australian national distributor of Bender products.

Condensator Dominit are specialists in grid quality. A German based, internationally active company in the field of electric energy supply quality. Condesator Dominit have been operating since 1950. We are agents for Condensator Dominit in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
