Ampcontrol has been named as one of 30 MOU and supporting partners of the Port of Newcastle Clean Energy Precinct.
Our purpose is to transform the world through collaboration—working alongside the Port is a great outworking of this as we seek to challenge the future.
These partnerships will underpin the development, storage and export pathway of a clean energy economy at the Port, positioning Newcastle and the Hunter as a leader in the production of clean energy.
The proposed Clean Energy Precinct is hoped to enable a new, scalable economy, positioning the Hunter Region as a global, diversified energy gateway and a catalyst for economic growth, job opportunities and innovative career pathways.
“I have no doubt that in the next decade the Hunter Region will be one of the primary manufacturers of energy in Australia. We have the industry smarts and capability to change the way we look at renewable energy manufacturing. Collaborating with the best like the Port of Newcastle will lead to better innovations and solutions to complex problems,” says Rod Henderson, Ampcontrol Managing Director & CEO.
We’re passionate about the growth and possibilities available here in the Hunter region where our Corporate Head Office is based.
