Ampcontrol’s VoiceCom Telephone has been designed to provide a user-friendly communications solution in the coal mining industry. The VoiceCom Telephone is Ex ia certified for use in Group 1 hazardous areas, and provides a reliable solution to suit harsh underground environments. The lightweight design is combined with an integrated carry handle to allow for easy transportation and installation.
Our VoiceCom Intercom Systems, including the Voicecom Amplifier VAA and Controller VCA, are designed for aboveground and underground conveyer applications and are an essential component of conveyer safety and remote isolation systems.
The VoiceCom Amplifier (VAA) is the field communication module for the VoiceCom System. The VAA has an integral microphone and connections for two loud speakers. Four push buttons provide calling functions and a LCD display provides status indication.
The VoiceCom Controller (VCA) is the master controller for our VoiceCom System and controls two communication lines, with up to 31 VoiceCom Amplifiers (VAA) per line.
The controller provides seamless audio communication between the two communication lines and controls and monitors pre-start alarms via a digital communication link. It also allows the user to set VAA amplifier parameters such as volume, audio threshold and battery charging current.
Tunnel Safe is a complete, modular expandable solution for emergency communications, environmental monitoring and asset tracking in tunnels.
