Ampcontrol Announced as Finalist at Australian Water Association 2020 NSW Water Awards

On the back of our success in 2019 at the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards and Hunter Business Awards, Ampcontrol has been announced as a finalist at the Australian Water Association 2020 NSW Water Awards for their breakthrough water solution Gilghi.

Receiving the nod with our hydrology partner Aurecon in the Infrastructure Innovation Award category, finalists are recognised for their innovation and excellence in the technology, business and delivery of water projects.

Led by Ampcontrol and developed in partnership with Aurecon, Gilghi was manufactured and commissioned as a unique remote area solar water treatment unit that utlilises advanced battery technology. This in-house developed, two-way inverter and locally sourced water treatment and reverse osmosis system that is neatly packaged for delivery in a shipping container. The system offers either a 3G/4G or iridium satellite link for remote monitoring and alarming of the power system and water treatment process. With a range of configurations and a plug and play commissioning process, Gilghi is a simple solution to a variety of applications.
